Acceptance to Major Requirements
Course Requirements: BIOL 100 Principles of Biology 1: Fundamentals of Living Things, BIOL 200 Principles of Biology 2: Biological Response to Challenge, and any other 4-credit course in the major
Minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.00
Other Requirements: Must have a Biology faculty member as Academic Advisor.
If pairing a Biology Major with a Secondary Education Minor, students also must meet the Education Departments admissions requirements, including a 2.50 GPA in cumulative, major, and Education coursework.

Biology Major with a Secondary Education Minor
Students may combine a Biology Major with a Secondary Education Minor and graduate fully prepared for a career in teaching. Students in this program meet the same requirements as do other Biology majors. Secondary Education minors must also meet the requirements of the Education Department. Students are strongly encouraged to contact a Science Secondary Education advisor as soon as possible in their college career, preferably as first-year students.Students who transfer to these colleges should see a Science Secondary Education advisor before registering for classes. Students should contact both the Education and the Biology Departments for detailed information on their programs.

Graduation Requirements:
In addition to the Integrations Curriculum, all undergraduate students must meet the following minimum degree requirements to earn their degree from CSB and SJU.
Credits: 124 total credits, 40 of which must be from upper division coursework
GPA: 2.0 or higher*
Residency: At least 24 of your last 32 credits must be completed at CSB and SJU
