The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University  offer a pre-professional program in chiropractic medicine. Our program is not a specific set of courses, but rather a curriculum specifically created between you and your advisor to help you achieve your goal of gaining acceptance into the chiropractic program of your choice.

Generally, students should complete 24 semester credits in the Life and Physical Sciences with at least half of the courses including a lecture and lab component. Students usually fulfill the prerequisite by completing  BIOL 101 and 201; BIOL 325 and 326; CHEM 125 and 201; PHYS 105. Additional courses may be required based on the requirements of specific chiropractic programs. Volunteer, shadow, or internship experiences in the field of chiropractic medicine are frequently recommended.

Due to the differences in prerequisite courses between chiropractic programs, students should work closely with their faculty advisor in planning their pre-professional program. Students should meet with the faculty advisor early in the fall semester of their first year.
