Secondary Education Minor
Students seeking a Minnesota license to teach grades 5-12 Communication Arts/Literature, Mathematics, Natural Science, and Social Studies; grades 9-12 Life Science, Chemistry, and Physics; grades 5-8 General Science; and grades K-12 Visual Arts, Vocal or Instrumental Music, World Languages (French, German, Spanish); and Teaching English as a Second Language complete a minor in secondary education.
Additionally, students interested in teaching secondary-level theology or English as an international language may complete this minor. These programs do not lead to a teaching license.
Students should consult with an Education advisor and reference the CSB/SJU Education Department website for information on specific major/content course requirements. The number of major/content area credits required will vary by program.

Graduation Requirements:
In addition to the Integrations Curriculum, all undergraduate students must meet the following minimum degree requirements to earn their degree from CSB and SJU.
Credits: 124 total credits, 40 of which must be from upper division coursework
GPA: 2.0 or higher*
Residency: At least 24 of your last 32 credits must be completed at CSB/SJU
