The undergraduate calendar is based on 72 Instructional Days with a Study Day and Final Exam Period at the end of the term.

Spring 2026 Mod Schedule
Some departments offer courses of less than a full term's length. These courses begin and end according to the following dates and are called Modules, or "Mods".
Each Mod will be listed by the codes below in the Official Class Schedule for Spring 2026. (tentative)

- Distinguished Thesis -
- All College Thesis Proposal, COLG 396, perm drop request must be submitted by October 31st of the senior year
- All College Thesis, COLG 398, perm drop request must be submitted by March 1st of the senior year
**Withdraw from a course - Use this form to withdraw from a course with a grade of "W" noted on your transcript
- Full semester course - use after first 4 weeks of the semester
- Mod courses - use during the 2nd third of the course, see dates listed above
- Distinguished Thesis - a "W" will be entered for all requests made after the above permanent drop dates for distinguished thesis
